Young Susan Walker and her mother Doris live on their own in New York City, where Doris works as an executive at the Macy’s department store. Determined to raise her daughter as a realistic, straight-forward young woman, Susan does not believe in Santa Claus or the magic of Christmas. Can an ex-marine named Fred Gaily and department store Kris Kringle open the Walker ladies’ eyes to the possibilities of Christmas miracles?
